The
Offer
Score
Every part returned through RADAR PARTS is graded against the ARA (Automotive Recyclers Association) standard — the industry's closest thing to a universal condition rating.
We surface the grade on every result. Not "good shape." Not "runs great." A letter, a mileage range, and what it means for the job.
Part Origin Options
OEM Only
Original manufacturer part, factory spec. What came off the assembly line.
Aftermarket OK
Third-party manufactured. Often lower cost, sometimes higher quality on specific components.
Either / Best Available
No preference — we find the highest-scoring option across both, given your grade minimum.
Excellent
Minimal wear. Clean pull from a low-mileage vehicle. What a shop owner would show a customer without hesitation.
~60k mi
Good
Normal wear. Fully functional. No defects that affect operation. The workhorse of used parts — what most repairs run on.
~200k mi
Fair
May have cosmetic flaws or higher mileage. Meets operational standards. Right call for non-visible structural parts or price-sensitive repairs.

Supplier Reliability Score
Scores are anchored in Google Business ratings — star average, review volume, and years operating. A yard with a 4.6-star average across 300 reviews earned that standing. As our platform builds transaction history, fulfillment data layers in on top.
Delivered Price
Every offer shows the full delivered cost — part price plus freight to your door — before you commit. No "call for a shipping quote." No surprises on the invoice. You're comparing real numbers, not just sticker prices.

Questions
Submit a request on Radar Parts with your vehicle year, make, model, the part you need, and your preferred condition grade. Our sourcing engine contacts our yard network and returns ranked offers — each with ARA condition grade, mileage, full delivered cost, and supplier reliability score. One submission, multiple results.
Grade A is excellent condition — typically a part pulled from a vehicle with under 60,000 miles, minimal wear, what you'd show a customer without hesitation. Grade B is good condition — normal wear, fully functional, up to around 200,000 miles. Grade C is fair — may have cosmetic flaws or higher mileage but meets operational standards. Right call for structural parts that won't be seen, or price-sensitive jobs.
OEM means the part was made by or for the vehicle's manufacturer — factory specification. Aftermarket means it came from a third-party manufacturer. These are origin designations, not condition grades. An OEM part can be Grade C. An aftermarket part can be Grade A. RADAR PARTS displays both as separate, independent specs on every offer so you can evaluate them without conflating the two.
Submitting a request is free. You receive ranked offers with full delivered cost — part price plus shipping to your door — before you commit to anything.
Reliability scores are currently anchored in Google Business ratings — star average, review count, and years in operation. A yard with a 4.6-star average across 300 reviews earned that standing through their actual customers. As RADAR PARTS builds its own transaction history, fulfillment data — response rate, quote accuracy, delivery performance — layers into the score on top of Google signals.
Yes. Yard operators and auto recyclers can request to join. You respond with your availability and price. No phone tag with shops trying to describe a part they may not have the right name for.
