Radar Parts ("Radar Parts," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you may have regarding your information when you access or use Radarparts.com and any related pages, tools, forms, communications, marketplace features, and services (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site or submitting information to Radar Parts, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, through communications with you, and in connection with our sourcing, marketplace, checkout, payment, fulfillment coordination, customer support, advertising, analytics, and marketing activities.

Information We Collect

When you submit a parts request, create an account, place an order, communicate with us, or otherwise use the Site, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information, including your full name, shop name, phone number, email address, and shipping address;
  • Request and transaction information, including vehicle information such as year, make, model, VIN if provided, part details, condition preferences, urgency or timeline, quote history, order details, payment-related records, and fulfillment records;
  • Communication preferences and consent records, including your SMS consent status, email preferences, call preferences, opt-out status, and related metadata;
  • Communications and support information, including messages, emails, text messages, call recordings where permitted by law, call transcripts, summaries, notes, and customer service interactions;
  • Device and usage information, including browser type, device identifiers, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and Site interaction data;
  • Cookies and similar technologies data, including analytics, advertising, retargeting, campaign measurement, session information, and related data collected through cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies; and
  • Seller- and partner-shared information, including quote responses, availability updates, shipping updates, and other transaction-related information received from yards, suppliers, carriers, and service providers.

You may choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may limit our ability to source parts, communicate with you, or complete a transaction.

How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information to:

  • source parts on your behalf by contacting our network of yards, recyclers, dismantlers, suppliers, and other service providers;
  • present sourcing results, quotes, listings, and marketplace leads to you;
  • contact you by email, phone, and SMS regarding your request, order, shipping, returns, support, and related services;
  • process orders, payments, refunds, credits, and related transaction administration;
  • maintain records of requests, quotes, orders, returns, disputes, and fulfilled transactions;
  • provide customer support and respond to questions or claims;
  • operate, train, test, monitor, and improve our Site, sourcing workflows, communications systems, automation systems, analytics, fraud prevention tools, advertising performance, retargeting, and service quality;
  • personalize content, measure traffic and campaign effectiveness, and support advertising and retargeting efforts;
  • comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, protect our rights, and prevent fraud or misuse; and
  • send relevant marketing communications about our services, subject to applicable law and your communication preferences.
Important: Radar Parts does not currently sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to service providers, vendors, advertising partners, and other recipients as described in this Privacy Policy in order to operate our business and the Site. If our data practices materially change in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

How We Share Your Information

We may share your personal information with the following categories of recipients:

  • Yards, recyclers, dismantlers, suppliers, and other sourcing partners in order to locate parts, obtain quotes, coordinate fulfillment, and address returns, claims, or warranty-related issues;
  • Payment processors and financial service providers to process transactions, refunds, fraud screening, and related payment functions;
  • Communication and outreach providers that help us send emails, texts, phone calls, and other messages, including platforms that support automated communications, AI-assisted outreach, transcription, summaries, and related workflow functions where permitted by law;
  • Technology, hosting, analytics, CRM, database, cloud storage, workflow, and advertising providers that support Site operations, customer management, campaign measurement, personalization, and business functions;
  • Logistics, shipping, and fulfillment partners that help deliver parts or administer shipment-related matters;
  • Professional advisors and service providers, including legal, accounting, insurance, and compliance providers;
  • Government authorities, regulators, law enforcement, or other third parties when required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • Successors or counterparties in a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We may also share information at your direction or with your consent.

Third-Party Service Providers

To operate our service, we use trusted third-party providers, including communication platforms, AI-powered outreach tools, voice and transcription tools, analytics providers, payment processors, database and hosting providers, advertising and retargeting providers, and logistics partners. These providers may process personal information on our behalf to perform services for us, subject to contractual, legal, or operational restrictions.

SMS, Calls, and Other Communications

If you provide your phone number and opt in where required, you agree that Radar Parts and its service providers may contact you by phone call or text message regarding your parts request, sourcing results, order updates, shipping, returns, support, marketing, and related services, subject to applicable law.

These communications may be made using automated technology, AI-generated or artificial voice technology, prerecorded voice messages, or automated text messaging technology, to the extent permitted by applicable law and based on any consent required by applicable law.

Calls and messages may be monitored, recorded, transcribed, summarized, analyzed, or processed by Radar Parts and its service providers, including AI-enabled tools, for quality assurance, training, customer support, workflow automation, compliance, fraud prevention, and service improvement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing messages will not prevent us from sending you transactional or service-related communications where permitted by law.

Section 07

Marketing Communications

If you submit a request, create an account, conduct business with Radar Parts, or otherwise engage with us, we may send you relevant offers, updates, sourcing tips, and other marketing communications to the extent permitted by law.

You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the message. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send transactional or relationship messages where permitted by law.

Cookies, Advertising, Analytics, and Retargeting

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies, including cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and related tools, to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand how visitors interact with the Site, analyze usage trends, measure campaign effectiveness, improve functionality, personalize content, support advertising efforts, and help detect fraud or misuse.

We may also work with analytics and advertising partners to support interest-based advertising, retargeting, audience measurement, attribution, and similar marketing activities. Depending on the facts and applicable law, some of these disclosures may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or a similar concept under certain state privacy laws.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Unless a longer period is required or permitted by law:

  • fulfilled transaction records may be retained for up to seven (7) years;
  • customer and contact information used for marketing may be retained until you opt out, request deletion where applicable, or we determine the information is no longer needed;
  • unfulfilled or inactive request data may be retained for up to three (3) years from submission unless you engage with us again during that period; and
  • consent records, suppression lists, and legal/compliance records may be retained as needed to document preferences, opt-outs, and compliance.

If you are a California resident, and if applicable law covers our processing, you may have the right to:

  • request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, share, or retain about you;
  • request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information, where applicable; and
  • exercise any other rights available under California law.
Radar Parts does not currently sell personal information for money. Depending on the facts and applicable law, some of our use of cookies, pixels, advertising technologies, and related disclosures to advertising or analytics partners may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or a similar concept under California law.

New Jersey and Other State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and if applicable law covers our processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to appeal our decision on your request.

Your Rights and Data Deletion Requests

Subject to applicable law and verification of your request, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@radarparts.com.

We will review and respond to requests within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, and we may deny or limit a request where permitted by law.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, tools, marketplaces, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties, and their practices are governed by their own terms and policies.

Policy Updates

Radar Parts may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the "Last Updated" date, posting a notice on the Site, sending an email, or using another method where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Site after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the updated Privacy Policy will apply to your continued interactions with us, to the extent permitted by law.
